You may contact any of the following staff by clicking their name and emailing them directly.
Kristen has recently completed her education in teaching and will be joining us as our newest teacher, primarily teaching social studies, but she also has expertise in teaching Spanish as well.
Brenda is new to teaching and Rainshadow, but has a wealth of experience in many parts of the world, working in management, chemical engineering and chemistry. She will be teaching math and science for us.
Marisa brings expertise in the area of science and social studies. She has worked at other schools, but decided to bring her talents and energy to us to help round out our community of leaders and teachers.
Toby is our special education teacher and Dean of Academics. She has been with the school since its earliest days, and has witnessed, and participated in creating the many positive changes the school has grown through.
Sam is one our social studies, history and English teachers, helps with our drama department and is also our basketball team coach. Sam is also very involved with the community outside of school.
Rachael is one of our English teachers and brings a quiet strength to the staff. She is also in charge of publishing our newsletters and the production of our year book, which is no small job.
Our Culinary Arts coordinator comes with years of experience in many different settings from restaurants to casinos and has provided training to many different groups.
Sandy has worked at Rainshadow in different capacities, but is now assisting Dave in our Culinary Arts Program. She has both teaching and culinary arts experience and does well with both areas.
Erik is our part time artist in residence and teaches our art classes. He has been with the school since the early days and has helped keep the arts alive not only in the school, but in the community as well.
Most people would only know him as Pan and he is always creating drama. Well, he is our other artist in residence and helps our students connect with the outside community through various forms of theater.
Alissa, our school counselor and Dean of Students, provides support and guidance to all of our students. She is the one that ensures they each have a plan and they follow their plans to graduation. When students need some personal help and direction, Alissa is the go to person.
Dave has been working part time, but will be full time now as our Facility Manager, making sure our school is safe, secure and clean.
As the Administrative Assistant/Registrar, Kim is the positive, happy person greeting people at the front office. If you need something, she is the person to talk to. As a member of the administrative team, she keeps us all on track.
Having moved to the tower, Steve, the Principal, is busy taking care of the chores no one else has time to do, like raising money, running errands and making sure reports get submitted on time.
